Dr. McKinney has served as my personal Veterinarian for over 20 years, my first choice, go to Vet and emergency needs as well as the Pet Business of Able Body Pet Care. Dr. McKinney is a very compassionate person and helped us all during the final stages of our animals when they were ready to transition and cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Raymond Burr had been our Veterinarian and when he retired and Laurie McKinney purchased Dr. Burrs Practice we continued receiving personal and caring service to this day. I lived in Half Moon Bay for 17 years and took all my pets to HMB Vet Hospital. Dr. McKinney was the singlemost caring veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was very thorough, very empathetic, always available and my pets loved her too!! I miss her, Dr. London and the staff at HMB Vet now that I am in Austin, TX and have yet to find anywhere close to the treatment and service I had there. Thank you to the staff at HMB Vet. I have been coming here for years with my pets, and this review is way past due. Dr. Mckinney and Staff have gone above and beyond so many times....I am so grateful. Most recently my 15 year old cat was near death with anemia. Many would have let her go, but thanks to the knowledge and patience of Dr. Price and Dr. Mckinney, she has made a full recovery! Just another story of the great care and compassion we have received at HMB Veterinary Hospital.
Very good, thorough, very caring and very loving. Dr McKinney and Dr. London are incredivle vets. The rest of the staff are very nice and very good. They are able to answer my questions and making appointments is real easy. And every time I have had to get in RIGHT away, they were able to get me in.
