I adopted a dog, and he was perfectly fine and healthy for two weeks. I brought him to VCA for a free wellness exam, and he ended up catching kennel cough. Ironically, a free appointment has actually cost me money going to another vet to get antibiotics. For three weeks, I've been dealing with this, and it's been terrible. The cheap ended up coming out expensive. I gave two stars instead of one because everyone in the office was friendly. I wish I could reverse time, I wouldn't have taken up their free exam offer.
Very caring people that I interacted with. Sam, vet tech was pleasant and spent alot of time with me and my furbaby. Dr. Snakes was thorough and explained everything that was needed for my furbaby.
****I BROUGHT MY HEALTHY ENERGETIC CAT HERE FOR ROUTINE LAB WORK AND NOW SHE WONT MOVE OR EAT All of this for almost $600 out of my pocket I brought my 12 year old cat in for some labs just as a proactive measure as I had not had her to the vet in some years and she is now a senior. She was completely healthy when I brought her, a day or two before I noticed one watery eye but otherwise she was fine. this place has no sense of urgency. brought my cat here because he hadnt been eating nor had he been going to the litter for a couple days. the vet barely seemed like she was sure of anything she was saying. the next day i called an ER and they said to take him in immediately. he ended up needing surgery. will not be coming back.
