I meant to write this post last year , but I wanted to wait just to see how wrong this vet was, and boy was she wrong. About a year ago this October my cat was very very sick. I brought him in here cause he was vomiting and wretching, I told them it was a possible poisoning. Four hours later of me waiting for any answer (and I had to get up and remind them I was there) They told me it was "his kidneys failing and he would maybe have 2 - 6 weeks to live", as his creatinine levels were "severely high". Several months ago, I sought assistance here for my 15yr old Tuxedo cat, who had sustained a tail pull injury. Upon reflection, I regret this decision, as I believe alternative options may have yielded more favorable outcomes. While I am tempted to rate this experience with a single star, I hesitate due to concerns regarding Google's algorithms, which often seem to exclude lower ratings. Worst experience ever. Brought my cat to VCA and wasted 6 hours sitting there for absolutely nothing. My poor shy cat was taken to the back where I couldn’t even see her, probably terrified the entire time. Meanwhile, they kept letting other pets cut ahead in the lineup because they said their cases were “more severe.” After all that waiting, ZERO treatment, ZERO meds, nothing.
