I called about an inquiry about a cardiologist for my dog. I gave the reception woman a quick run down about my 6 year old dog who has epilepsy and might have ongoing heart conditions. I told her because of seizures, he would be unable to be sedated for any testing, what can be done instead” & also prefaced it by saying I’m calling to ask questions. Really great facility. Clean and modern. Dr. Linderman is incredibly knowledgeable with a fantastic bedside manner and his team is top notch as well. He patiently answered all of our questions and provided a clear plan.
If i could give 0 star i will. This place is ripping people off. It deserves so many negative reviews I never write review until i got very upset with this place. I was charged about $9000 for a cat 3 hours stay in this hospital. 11-4-2025 I rushed to here for emergency care of a cat diagnosed with "dying", no breathing, cold pads. First of all they covered up real state of cat and pretended they could save cat life. i was rushed to sign a 3-day plan would cost nearly $15000. The veterinarians at the Westbury location are under qualified and cruel. They performed invasive tests on my dog without asking my permission and didn’t prescribe pain medication until I asked. Worst of all, they gave me hope where there was none. VCA is a large corporation with the singular goal to maximize profits. I would have paid anything to save my dog. Instead, she was tortured and I will forever be sorry she spent her last days at VCA.
