I brought my dog in after she got out and was hit by a car, they proceeded to hand me a $5,000 bill and I told them I would go elsewhere. Then I paid $500 for them to basically do nothing and give her pain meds. I brought my dog to Dickinson Animal hospital and they did everything that VCA would have done but for $600… do with that information what you will I’m sure VCA provides great medical care but the cost is ridiculous.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received here tonight. We arrived around 8:00 PM because my dog had a large, open gash on her leg and was actively bleeding. She was immediately taken to the back for vitals, which cost $170. After that, a staff member came out and told me it would be another $140 just for pain medication. Of course I agreed — no pet owner wants their animal to suffer in pain. After that, nothing happened. Having to let your pet go is one of the most difficult days of your life. Our elderly 14 year old girl went down hill very quickly. Dr. Sanchez and her staff are very compassionate people. They helped our sweet Sugar get to the bridge with peace and respect. Much love to them.

Take your pet here, if you want them to DIE! My cat went into labor and the first kitten got stuck halfway (feet first), unfortunately that first kitten passed. I was told to go home and that "sometimes this just happens". My cat still had 2 babies in her and we were told to continue monitoring her labor. 24 hours passed and they told us that it was just "delayed labor". 36 hours passed and we brought her in. They did an ultrasound and the other 2 kittens were dead inside of her! They then wanted to the charge $8000 for an "... read more
