I thought he was fair, until about a week ago, took my car to get fixed, charged my close to $700.00 my car was the same, making the exact same noise, sounds tha it was making before, when I took it back, he said it was probably something else, the brakes and the shocks, I didn't want to argue, so I left but I had my doughts, I took it to relative who lives in Chicago, but is also a mechanic, and told me that it was the ball joint, ant that someone remove the brake pads that's why it was making that sound, the thing is jesus... read more

I bought a used car not realizing that it had locking lug nuts on the rim. Palmen should have provided me with the key when I purchased the vehicle, but they did not. I wound up with a flat tire and when I attempted to change it, I discovered the locked rim. Jesus was able to get my car in right away, so we had a tow company bring it over. Less than 18 hours later, all of the keyed lug nuts were replaced and a new tire was on. He even patched up another tire that had a slow leak, for a very fair price! Had my rear brakes done at a better than average price. Fast and great service. I trusted him and he came through with flying colors! Highly recommend!

Went in with a cold air intake to get installed and was told I'll charge you 220. Last time I checked for a licensed mechanic this job should take 30 minutes top and he was going to take 2 hours to complete the job. When the hell did labor go up to $110 an hour. Be sure to ask about his hourly rate if you do decide to go.
