Really Helped my cat!!! Thank you so so much!!!! I had gone to another emerg vet before this in Newmarket, they had the wrong diagnosis and gave me a super expensive quote. Dr. Eleanor was very knowledgeable, she had a thorough exam with my cat and gave me really good advice. My cat visibly got better after 12 hours.
August 20th my family had to say our last goodbyes to our family member " Oreo " of 18 years he was a sweetheart of a cat. I want to give the entire staff at VREC my gratitude for their compassion kindness and understanding. It wasn't easy saying good bye but the staff did make it easier. Everyone at the clinic is super nice and kind. We waited 45mins when there was no one else being seen. Vet told us this was because she was calling specialists for my cat. I was told a referral was made at a surgery clinic for my cat and to wait to be called by the clinic for an appointment the same week. I was also told by the vet that she would be calling other clinics on Monday to see if a sooner appointment could be made and that she would be personally calling me Monday morning to update me. I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 18 years, I had to make the hardest call of my life around 9:30pm, they were so kind gentle and thoughtful through the entire process. Even stayed with me afterwards. Compassionate and truly loving. Even sent me a card with my boys paw prints. They went above and beyond for me and my best friend. Thank you so much. Loosing a pet is never easy but they honestly did everything they could to make this peaceful and beautiful.
They did surgery on my friend’s cat, charged a total of $12,000 and the cat still passed away. They even asked for extra money just to perform CPR. Everything here is about money it really doesn’t feel like they care about pets at all. I wish I could officially report this place.
