It should not be a misson to call a doctors office! The receptionists in person are great, however it is obvious that the admin set there phone to DND or some other option! everytime i call regardless of the time, i press 6 and the call gets dropped or i get a message saying call at bussiness hours! I grow more and more stressed trying to get a follow up appointment! Worst receptionist experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. I called regarding a recurring condition, already confirmed with my family doctor that I needed to see the specialist. Instead of helping, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. She questioned why I was even calling, saying things like “I don’t understand why you are calling for a medication” and “you don’t even have a pharmacy in your area.” When I told her we have a Shoppers Drug Mart, she claimed she couldn’t find it.
