Dr John is well versed at his practice. I’ve been in pain for 18 months and am now looking at other surgical options to correct my pain. Do your research before you decide to get snipped. Had I known that post vasectomy pain is more common I would not have got the procedure. After a year of pain I went back and he told me in it’s my head. I wish this was the case... just imagine being kicked in the balls mildly for 18 months..that’s where I’m at now. I guess I’m the 1% he talks about.
I had my procedure a few months ago, and I was very pleased on how professional Dr. Weissman was and his staff. Day’s after my procedure I received a hand written letter from Dr. Weissman thanking me for scheduling an appointment with him, as well as just following up with me. I would recommend the Vescotomy Center to anyone.
If you are looking to get in an assembly line to get yours done this is the place. You're clearly a pay check and not a patient. Not only was the dr rude and inconsiderate but the staff is as well. During the procedure I complained of pain and he told me if i didn't stop he was going to stop the procedure. I've worked in healthcare for several years and if any of the drs I worked with treated patients like this they would be out of business. Go somewhere else. Seattle has great healthcare facilities, this is not one of them!
I had my procedure performed several weeks ago at the Issaquah clinic. What a beautiful hospital and location. I found the staff not only professional but at the same time very kind and comforting. Dr. Weissman did a wonderful job and he alleviated much of my fears with his sense of humor. As promised very little discomfort. Most importantly my wife is happy!
Doc Weissman told me that the anticipation of a vasectomy is much worse than the reality. WOW! was he right. As promised no pain. Just felt a very mild pop from an air device and I was numb for the procedure. In 15 minutes I was back in my car and driving home. Did great.
