Update- I got a revision surgery by a top surgeon out of state (Dr pearl). He fixed Barbaras botched surgery she performed on me and I am doing better 9 weeks post op. Please do not consult with this arrogant and dismissive surgeon Barbara. Hopefully she goes back to her country soon, as my experience with her is not in line with American born doctors. Super bad experience with the doctor I felt my questions were forcefully answered like in a hurry to see the next patient and also was told by him that aspirin Is not proven or researched to say it helps on thinning the blood 🤷🏼♀️this doctor here doesn’t do a good care of the patients concerns and health he is just there to get paid for patients he sees. Horrible experience. I will be seeing a different Vascular doctor somewhere else.
I got first rib resection and pec minor release by Melendez, I was told the surgery would not make me worse, but it made me worse. I’m 1 year out. The surgery was downplayed to me- and a lot of the complications I have were not conveyed to me.. When in reality it is a MAJOR surgery and should not of been taken so lightly, I do not recommend this place.
