I had a terrible experience with Dr. Avisesh Sahgal and his office. I waited a month for this appointment, only to have it canceled at the minutes before I arrive to my appointment. I was already on my way and was going to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled time when the assistant called to cancel, saying I should have arrived 30 minutes early. I called the office to get a general idea of the procedure of diagnosing varicose veins and the cost. First red flag, the receptionist could not answer my questions. She had to put me on hold and consult with her manager. Second red flag, I was on hold for more than five minutes and it dialed me back into the office. Third red flag, when she finally picked up again she informed me the doctor did not take out of pocket patients and did not have a price quote. Absolutely appalled by how they seem to treat people in general. Looking at past reviews here, I definitely dodged a bullet here. Never been a patient, but I applied for a position here as advertised on the web more than six months ago. Fast forward to today and they seem to have contacted me out of the blue for a position I applied to back then, and I completely forgot about it. I have visited this office several times about a vascular issue that resulted from a broken foot. I initially did not follow Dr. Podolsky's advice to take an anti-coagulant because I avoid pharmaceutical products, but he and Abigail were very respectful of my perspective and continued to work with me.
