We moved into our Gilbert Street location over 45 years ago and still offer the same quality laundromat services that built our reputation back then. Reliable cleaners I used Varsity cleaners for several years when I lived in Iowa City. They always took great care of my garments, and always had them for me on time. They also have very reasonable prices. PROS: reliable, take care of your garments, good prices CONS:
NOT FOR MEN'S SHIRTS NOT GOOD FOR MEN'S PRESSED SHIRTS. As a new member to the IC community, Varsity Cleaners had been recommended to me by family friends. I have brought my dressy items and significant other's dress shirts there a number of times. I was satisfied with their cleaning and customer service until now. On one occasion, on all four of the white shirts we picked up, we had to have them redone as their was black chalk/flake marks in the inside collar and up and down the arm. They redid them for free.
