Judgemental staff. Came in and said hello, leaned over to look at some of their product and a staff member aggressively tugged it away like he was afraid I'd steal it. I left immediately. If they're going to judge me and assume I don't have the money to spend based on my appearance, then they do not deserve my money. I love this store! The jewelry is gorgeous! The stones are cut to shine with light, and are so beautiful set in handmade settings! It is so refreshing to see jewelry that embraces natural stones in artistic settings!
I've been following Variance Objects on Instagram for a few years now and have always wanted one of their gorgeous pieces, but could never justify spending the money "just because." Came upon this store during a road trip through Santa Cruz and my wife loved a piece (cigar band ring) - super unique stuff. I ended up buying online and having it shipped about 6 months later for her birthday. As she was pregnant at the time, sizing was tough but Scott was super helpful and offered to resize after our birth. He was great and my wife loves the ring. Highly recommend.
