Dr Vargas and his team successfully performed my liver transplant surgery 18 months ago . I was very ill and had issues which others determined precluded a transplant . Dr Vargas and his team saved me and I am forever grateful to have met him .
My husband has medical issues and nobody would take his case. He was either referred to someone else or the option of surgery was never mentioned, until we moved to NE. His GI doc told us to see Dr. Vargas for surgery and he successfully completed TWO surgeries on my husband within 6 months. It improved his quality of life ten-fold. When reviewing other possible surgeries, Dr. Vargas was HONEST about what would/wouldn't work and what he felt comfortable doing.
