Basically bring the metal to a virgin state. It also can be used to de-burr and to change surface appearance depending on the choice of abrasive that is added to the slurry mix.

Whoever answered phone doesn’t want business apparently, they just answered with hey and left it at that, no name of employee or business given. I called about pricing because I live 2 hours away and wanted to avoid wasting anyone’s time if price was out of my budget, the answer I got was $100 or $5000. Thanks for the useless information and the unprofessional service, glad I didn’t waste any money here.
