Terrible service and freezing funds
The Dentist I work for has worked with World Pay for 15-20 years & had no complaints. HOWEVER - not sure whats going on with their RISK department as of late, but talk about a NIGHTMARE... OUR CREDIT CARD FUNDS WERE FROZEN & HELD OUT OF THE BLUE, 3-4 days later we receive an email requesting more information about a large transaction.. Email stated if we did not send documents over they had the right to hold funds - ONLY PROBLEM WAS FUNDS WERE ALREADY BEING HELD. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. They bury their terms in links within their agreements and put in 3 year automatic renewals without any type of reminder before the renewal kicks in. Even cable companies aren’t that shady.
Worldpay is terrible. They charge exorbitant hidden fees, including a $75 "PCI Non-Validation" fee per item, claiming our internet security doesn’t meet their standards. Staying compliant feels impossible—this fee is clearly their money-making scheme.
