The Dentist I work for has worked with World Pay for 15-20 years & had no complaints. HOWEVER - not sure whats going on with their RISK department as of late, but talk about a NIGHTMARE... OUR CREDIT CARD FUNDS WERE FROZEN & HELD OUT OF THE BLUE, 3-4 days later we receive an email requesting more information about a large transaction.. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. They bury their terms in links within their agreements and put in 3 year automatic renewals without any type of reminder before the renewal kicks in. Even cable companies aren’t that shady.
Worldpay is terrible. They charge exorbitant hidden fees, including a $75 "PCI Non-Validation" fee per item, claiming our internet security doesn’t meet their standards. Staying compliant feels impossible—this fee is clearly their money-making scheme.
worldpay FIS is not a great partner for small business. They do not represent you when you need them and they will draft money from your account in the middle of the night without any notice when there is a dispute. We got hit by a con artist trying to recapture 80K from a long term restoration project over a year with 9 different transactions, many in person, chip present, signed, pictures of the delivered product.
