Dr Monaco and his team are amazing! All staff members are amiable, professional and clear animal lovers! Came here as our 11 year old large dog tore a ligament and has a weak knee. Hubby and I were very nervous to put our senior dog through major surgery but we are glad we did. Pre-surgery, Dr Monaco and his team clearly explained what would occur and what to expect. Prior to our consultation at Vantage Veterinary Surgery, we had already met with a surgeon at Manhattan Veterinary Hospital. While the doctor there was kind and professional, Dr. Monaco was on a different level. He was incredibly informative, honest, and compassionate. We truly appreciated his professional recommendations and the time he took to thoroughly explain everything, allowing us to make a well-informed decision. I brought my dog Benji to Vantage for a large soft tissue sarcoma (cancer) on the back of his hind leg. I was so hesitant to put my 13 year old dog with heart disease through this procedure. Dr. Monaco and his whole team were so patient, explained everything in detail, and most importantly, you would never know Benji had surgery. He walked out of the office with his tail wagging, in no pain, and hasn't skipped a beat. I couldn't recommend this practice enough. I am SO GRATEFUL.
