Prior to our consultation at Vantage Veterinary Surgery, we had already met with a surgeon at Manhattan Veterinary Hospital. While the doctor there was kind and professional, Dr. Monaco was on a different level. He was incredibly informative, honest, and compassionate. I brought my dog Benji to Vantage for a large soft tissue sarcoma (cancer) on the back of his hind leg. I was so hesitant to put my 13 year old dog with heart disease through this procedure. Dr. Monaco and his whole team were so patient, explained everything in detail, and most importantly, you would never know Benji had surgery. He walked out of the office with his tail wagging, in no pain, and hasn't skipped a beat. I couldn't recommend this practice enough. I am SO GRATEFUL.

Staff and Dr Monaco were extremely friendly and helped squeeze us in when our dog tore her acl. The doctors took his time and explained everything to us. They made the procedure as easy as possible and my dog recovered really well. She was up and walking within 5 weeks!! I appreciate their kindness and professionalism
