I originally wanted to move in on the 9th, but I was told there are no weekend move-ins. Instead, I wanted to move into the unit on the 8th. When I showed up, my move-in date was accidentally put in the system as the 11th. However, the team at Urban Oaks did not turn me away after driving so far to get there. Don’t let them fool you!! The pool has basically been out all summer. And you know the main reason we moved here was for the pool and we haven’t gotten in it once because it’s either closed or full of people who are not respectful!! Blaring music and kids running around like crazy with no parents watching them!
On the day of move-in the A/C was out, my doors were left open, and dead roaches were left for me to find with many other problems with the unit. Trash was left in the unit with multiple open crawl spaces for pets to get lost in. The office was not quick to act when hearing about this. In addition they have forced the complex to use a certain Wifi company that was AND STILL is not equipped to support all residents. Overall, it’s been a decent experience. We still have issues that were recognized at move in that haven’t been fixed or corrected and we’ve had no use of the swimming pool all month or since we’ve moved in which we aren’t happy about at all. That’s part of the amenities we pay for and important in the dead heat of the summer for our residents here. Not fair at all. We’ve yet to see any repair people at our pool to do whatever repairs are claimed. Can that be attended to as again, the amenities are part of what we pay for her... read more
