Great communication and great service received from Vantage Appliances. The technician was very courteous and also diagnosed another issue that we were having with a quick and easy fix.
Hi, I would just like to warn people to ensure they get the cost of a service call from these People. I had Doug come to my home in Canmore when he was already here on another service call and I still was charge $550 in a service call and mileage + labor+parts. I don’t mind paying my fair share, however when you come and do a number of calls in a day this is really taking the piss!! He squeezed me in at the end of the day and I paid $723 for the repair and the part cost $37, the rest went in his pocket!!
Service is good… BUT The service call pricing is extremely high. They charge $316.00 for the first 30 minutes, then $52.00 for each additional 15 minutes, plus the cost of any parts used. Be aware that the $316 was only to diagnose the issue—no repairs were carried out beyond that. Make sure you’re prepared for this level of pricing before booking a service.
We called Vantage to replace the evaporator in our Sub Zero fridge. The service call was over $300, 10 minutes long, and they didn't tell us anything we didn't know. They upsold us on work and quoted us $3300 to be done in 3 weeks. We called PA Service and Randy came the next day and fixed our fridge for a quarter of the price. Call Randy to fix your fridge.
I recently used Vantage Appliances to service my Sub-Zero refrigerator because ice was building up behind the crisper drawer. Doug first came to my home, identified the fundamental problem, and told me a retrofit part was needed. Kanwar S. arrived a week later with the part to install.
