Only to get there, they made the appointment for the wrong thing, jacked up the cost over what they told me on the phone and tthey were clueless regarding a service. I love the Vann York Service team. I’m so grateful to have a Honda dealership where I can truly trust the Advisors, Mechanics, and Service Manager. There is transparency in the work they do. They even have a video of work needed on my car so I can see what they’re talking about. They are willing to answer any questions I have. When I can’t get everything done at once that they recommend, they’ll tell me what is top priority and how crucial the timing is for everything else. There’s really no pressure. Terrible experience. Went in after calling the svc dept and speaking with someone at length. Only to get there, they had made the appointment for the wrong thing. They jacked up the cost over what they told me on the phone. They had no idea what I was talking about getting it inspected for a warranty wrap. They did work, without my authorization and then tried to get money from me. Did work without my approval. Mickey Mouse service dept. They lost almost $3k in revenue because of it.
I want to give a shoutout to Reid Fish in the service department. He is a very awesome employee and makes coming to get my CR-V service a pleasant experience. I had to wait a very long time today because of a detailed repair but Reid kept me in the loop the whole time, came out and sat with me in the waiting room to explain where we were in the process. I did not mind waiting because I always knew what was coming. Thank again Reid and the entire service team at Vann York Honda!!
Basically my second time at this dealership. I needed a Honda civic window motor replaced. I authorized the work hours ago. The total job replacement time. For a professional mechanic: The job could take 2.1 hours on average. They did order the part. When I purchased a tire here 30 minutes to close the tech said he could not balance the tire!!
