This is definitely a case of buyer beware. It appears that VanMile would like to position itself as the Uber of moving services. Unlike Uber, however, being matched to an unknown service that may or may not really be in the moving business is not the best way to go. In my case, I scheduled two men and a truck for a Saturday morning pickup and delivery for about 2 rooms of furniture, about 20 miles distance. The day of, he assured that he had been in touch with you and explained his truck issue but that would head your way that day after getting it fixed. We did not receive voice message or email stating your issue so we did not know the job fell through. We apologize for all the inconvenience, wish we could have taken appropriate measures.

I had a great experience hiring VanMile! Tyson and his helper (I don’t recall his name) were very professional and friendly. They were extremely cautious with every single item in my apartment and yet had the move completed in an excellent timely manner. I’ll make sure to recommend them to family and friends!
Our driver never showed up. I confirmed several times the week prior with the company. They assured me that all was well. I tried calling and texting the driver when he didn't arrive but received no response. It was a great inconvenience for us. The company did try to locate another driver but it would have been hours later and that didn't work for us.
First Dry Clean highly commands VanMile. Their great service help us to save a lot time and worry less!
