What a gracious, warm welcome I received at this gem of a mom and pop shop! I loved every bite of my aptly named Vanlove roll and so appreciated the complementary iced tea and pastry. Excited to return and admire more of the gorgeous art and highly rated coffee!
Food is good - average sushi for average prices. Some of the rolls were a bit dry, but most were exactly what we hoped for. Smoothie was delicious. Service was a bit confusing - they took some people's orders right at the table and told other to go line up inside and others to use the slef-serve kiosk. I'd go back though, especially thanks to a dog-friendly patio.
Worst dining experience I have had in a long time. An hour for 2 orders of California rolls is insane. I can understand if they were busy, they were not. Figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt since the reviews seem decent. I was wrong. They were not delicious. At all. Gross. Maybe the reviews are sponsored. I don't know, but save yourself a bad experience and dine somewhere else.
Had a great meal at VanLove Sushi. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty, and the service was friendly. Really enjoyed the food and would definitely visit again.
