Worse experience ever! Two weeks before I was to pick up my cake I asked the owner if I could cancel due to not being able to transport it to TN & also it would have to sit for 6 days before my wedding. The owner not only laughed and said no but she was rude about it. She then said it's on the door "no refunds" (this is not on the door). So I sucked it up and picked it up today. Ordered two different cakes from them one last year and one just recently. Both times was not decorated as I ordered. Let the first time slide because mistakes happen but when you order again and then same thing occurs makes you wonder how many people have gone through the same thing you have. So I belive writing a review may save some people from having this happen to them especially if it's for a big event. Seem to be very disorganized.
Horrible. Ordered my wedding cake from them last June. They showed up at the wedding with the cake not decorated they said they forgot how I wanted it to be done so they had to quickly decorate it at the wedding last minute. Then when I went to cut the cake in front of the guest I was pulling out hair that has been baked in. Was super embarrassing and the cake had to go to waste because the wedding guest were all grossed out. I was humiliated on my wedding day something I will never forget.
I recently ordered a very special cake from Vanilla Bean( Daughters baby shower), and I have to say that it was the best cake I have ever eaten! The cake, decorated in a Simba theme was a main attraction at the shower! Thank you for making a cake decorated so well, and just as tasty for this special occasion! Also, I attended a graduation party that was catered with several sweet treats by Vanilla Bean, and it was very impressive!
