Moved a very heavy piece of excerise equipment today. It had to come up basement stairs in one home and up to the second floor of my house. It was not easy, but they did it without so much as disturbing a picture on the wall next to the stairs. VERY professional and quick to respond. Highly recommended!!!!
DO NOT USE. HORRIBLE. USELESS. Hired them to just empty a moving truck with furniture, some of it heavy. They knew the contents before arriving, and quoted me a price. When they arrived, they upped the price by $100, saying an item was very heavy. If they knew how to properly leverage it, and use ramps, it would not have been an issue. Vanguard Consignment House is by far the worst business that I have ever dealt with!! Ron is a very rude man and should not be dealing with the public at all! 12/20/13 his son picked up some items that belonged to my sister who had passed away on 12/13/13 it was a very difficult time for me clearing her apt out but I had dealt with Ron before and got paid not in a timely manner but got paid after calling several times. My family has been working with this family and company for well over 20 years and to this day we continue to do business with them! They have helped furnish many of our homes and always have great prices and customer service. I have always enjoyed over the years coming here with my father when I was younger and now with a family of my I . Ron and Jackie have been great, we wish them all the best!
