Absolutely the most difficult people to get ahold of. They have elongated many process for me just because I can NEVER get someone on the line to help me. I do get calls back, but the customer service is never great. It was easy to buy my home and get a mortgage with them, however. Dealing with them on getting the respective info i need for taxes and reimbursements after selling my home has been extremely challenging. Has anyone heard of an answering service, at least? Jeez.
Steve, Amanda, and Rose at VanDyk Mortgage were so incredible to us throughout the home buying process. They were attentive, helpful, patient, and honest with us. Steve found us a down payment assistance program that was mildly elusive but saved us thousands. Amanda was immediately communicative, I almost never waited more than 20 minutes for a response from emails.
