The BBQ and sides were absolutely delicious! John clearly has a passion for barbecue, and you can taste it in every bite. His homemade sausage and the seasoning were exceptional, and I loved the dill in the potato salad. Plus, the portions were HUGE—no one left hungry! What an amazing spread! The best, BEST bbq You can get outside of Texas! Just ask all 120 people at my daughter’s wedding. John got to the venue at 4am and started the brisket, it was such a wonderful experience to have our dinner cooking there onsite. Vandervate BBQ’s catering service is 5 stars from start to finish, the sauces, the meat, and of course the customer service is all phenomenal and I cannot recommend someone more. Hire these guys for your events! You won’t be disappointed!
Had John cater our family X Mas and it went perfectly. Outstanding quality BBQ and there was a ton of food. I would use him again without any concerns and definitely would recommend to others.
Vandervate BBQ catered West Valley Football Boosters annual fundraiser auction dinner and we could not be more pleased!! His professionalism, and kind character were a welcome surprise.
