Great tasting food and plenty of it! John provided the meats, sides and dessert for our wedding rehearsal dinner of approximately 50 people. It was all fantastic and we received multiple comments from others about how much they enjoyed the food. He was easy to work with and accommodated our multiple menu changes. I would definitely use him again.
I highly recommend! They provided wonderful BBQ for my Niece’s Wedding. We got so many compliments from the guests. Would use them again!
We had John and crew supply our association gathering with catering. He was very professional. I was well posted over the entire process. The food was excellent and received great reviews from all that attended. The price was exactly as quoted. It doesn't get better than this. The Vandervate team just catered my brother’s wedding and it was THE BEST dinner I have ever had! Delicious, well cooked meat, more than enough for everyone, and they were SO nice! Thank you guys!
I'm posting this review for those that want to do BBQ, but aren't sure from whom or what they might get; dry, bland, small potions, under done or just poorly planned. Not the case with Pit Master John and his team of professionals. The meats (we chose all), the presentation and the service where amongst the best we could hope for. My family and I do a lot of BBQ whenever possible and always when we're in Texas. John brings that right to our area and more so right to you.
