Excellent customer service and the BBQ was melt in your mouth delicious. John catered our work Christmas party and not a drop was left. Everyone loved it! We will definitely do it again.
Vandervate BBQ catered my wedding and we were absolutely pleased with John and his team. John set up Valhalla the day before and was there early on wedding day to get the brisket going. Even in the rain he was a true MVP. Besides the brisket we ordered ribs, chicken & sausage. We also asked for spicy Mac ‘n Cheese and spicy beans and they delivered! Everything was delicious. Our guests were obsessed with the food and we heard compliments all night. Would recommend if you’re looking for great BBQ!
If you want food at your event to be talked about for years to come this is the guy to call. At my wedding we had smoked brisket, chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens with bacon, smoked blueberry cheesecake and more. As my wife and I went to weddings of friends and family events years after we would all revel over that meal. I hired Vandervate BBQ for my first child’s graduation party in 2021 & again for my second child’s in 2025. Guests literally asked me if we’d be having the same BBQ again! One said, “Even better than last time!” Brisket & ribs were a huge hit. Guests asked to take leftovers home! Tender & flavorful. Smoked to perfection.
