Called beforehand to get an estimated quote for a notary. Was given a quote for $40-$80. She even made a comment saying “I never seen it be more than $80.00”. Well day arrives and the payment was $200! The lawyer didn’t even do anything but stamp and sign and verified our documents … they didn’t even do it right as there was some information missing which our actual lawyer in Vancouver had to tell the lawyer to resend the document back cause it was incomplete. They have no time management skills. Set up appointment for specific time (due to working nights) told them that it had to be on time; as I live far out of town and have to be back home in time for my ride to work. It has now been 20 mins of me waiting.
