The Primary care doctor/+ Vivid health location makes me feel safe, advocates with my full health in mind, and has been compassionate with my conditions. Great treatment planing for bettering my health. Doctor Canceled my appointment within the window while I was sitting there. Said and never notified that Dr. Shaffer sees more patients so it’s at his discretion. This is not stated anywhere and against policy that was stated by Vanderbilt. No paperwork, no notification. I was told this was due to Dr. Shafer having less time than other doctors bc he takes more patients. Sounds like you get less care so he can be paid more! If you are feeling sick you might as well go to urgent care. These doctors claim they are busy or dont have time on their schedule to see you. Even though this place is always empty. So if you need to set up an appointment you better hope you can wait a week out.
My problem lies with the front desk worker, I was treated very poorly. I came in due to fears of having the coronavirus and the front desk lady asked me about symptoms. I told her, then she said it would cost 110 for the test. No problem, then she looked me up and down and said you know we aren't a free clinic, what does that mean? I assume she think I didnt have money, anyways i left. They really should have a better front desk with the name vanderbilt on their building.
