My care team let me down Benjamin and Tanicia. I have very bad intercostal neuralgia (from pleural effusion) and when I went in for a nerve block procedure I was in severe pain (came from CA where each time I had it done under anesthesia) and the doctor Benjamin said wow I’ve never seen anyone react like that your pain receptors are very sensitive. SO I followed up w/Tanicia in person and said it was minimal relief and we were going to try it again but they finally got my prior pain clinic info and saw they did the injection... read more

Tanicia is my pain management provider. She is the reason I come to this location. She has never rushed me, listens with empathy and is fair when trying new treatments. I am so grateful I found her. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and friendly every visit. I highly recommend Tanicia if you want to just be heard. You might not always agree but you will never be disrespected.

I recently experienced an unfortunate and intense illness that saw me hospitalized for around 3 months over 4 stays. I was fortunate enough to be treated at Vanderbilt hospital and thus was treated by this pain management team. I was astonished and grateful for their approach, experience and knowledge base. They were able to offer pain management medications that other physicians would likely not know existed and were fit for my condition.
