If I could choose no stars I would. I took my cancer warrior sister there last night. We sat in an interior waiting room for about 4 hours. She was pulled out for labs, X-ray, and registration. The Dr said it's probably a virus. They only got concerned when her BP fell. Went home. Well, we're now waiting for a direct admit from Sango ER to a hospital in Nashville. I could go cause a scene I'm so mad.
Worst experience ever.
5 hours in the ER waiting room with no end in sight! SO glad my doctor called ahead so I wouldn't have to wait. I'm in a great deal of pain, I'm swollen and now my back hurts from sitting for so long. People have been waiting longer than I!! Don't come here if you're in a hurry. UPDATE: it's now been nearly 9 hours and I'm STILL waiting! 2nd UPDATE: 12 HOURS!! Absolute garbage hospital. Beds in the halls for patients in the ER, staff is uninformative and act like you are bothering them. Mistakes being made and excuses being given. Definitely go to a different hospital for care.
If I could give 0 stars I would, but not an option. I went here with severe abdomen pain and waiting over 5 hours for nothing! The doctors came in to say that they didn't think it was necessary to do a CT scan that they was reassuring that I was fine. After being released I went to another hospital for the same issue, and they found the problem, I had a cyst on right ovary, also inflammation of the colon. Vanderbilt is terrible now!
