Upon arriving for my appointment the front desk told me I needed to pay almost $400 for a visit that is preventative care and 100% covered by my insurance provider. Then proceeded to tell me it’s due to not meeting my out of network deductible. When my insurance is IN-NETWORK. I asked her to cancel my appointment. It is not my responsibility to make sure your front desk knows how to do their job nor do I TRUST any providers office who doesn’t make sure these things aren’t happening. Horrible management . Had an appointment scheduled for months , I received several text messages confirming my appointment . Show up for my appointment only to be told my provider is no longer with Vanderbilt and they can reschedule. with another provider . So inconvenient as I had to take time off from work to go .
I've been going here for over 11 years. The front desk called me today and cancelled my appointment I had for months because "Vanderbilt does not accept appointments if you do not have insurance." I have not had insurance for a year and paying it out of pocket has been fine until now. I tried calling back and was left on hold for 30 minutes 3 times.
Absolutely shitty medical facility. The staff at the desk when you enter were unfriendly, passive-agressive, and incredibly disrespectful. No one called me before I drove 1 hour and wasted fuel (and money) for my appointment and told me everything that I was meant to bring to said appointment. I was asked to bring my ID; which I do not have, as I am a minor and have never needed one. Literally had to be called back STEPHANIE THE SECRETARY says “due to no response I will be hanging up”. I’m saying hello on repeat then she starts rattling off the number to call back and I yell into the phone “CAN YOU HEAR ME” and she pauses and stutters a goodbye and hangs up. Do NOT even try this place
