We ended up using Vander Veen for two separate jobs, which I think shows how happy we were. The crew is very kind and easy to work with and the most valuable thing to us was the trust. We always felt like our best interests were front and center and that we were being treated fairly. The end results are great and we're so happy with the work that was done. Thank you Calvin!
We had Calvin remodel our kitchen and bathroom - we had a great experience and would highly recommend him. Everything was done on time and to a high standard of craftsmanship. He also worked with us to keep everything within our budget without compromising on the overall quality of the project. Whenever unexpected issues cropped up, he was always easy to communicate with and all issues were promptly attended to. We felt that Calvin made the whole process as low-stress as it could be. Could not recommend him more.

I would highly recommend Vander Veen Construction. Calvin took time to understand the work I needed his team to complete. They stayed within budget and completed the project on time. Calvin or one of his crew, took time to walk construction progress and budget with me several times throughout the project so there were no surprises. His pricing was fair, especially given the current construction market. The quality of their work was great.
Calvin and his crew were excellent to work with. He really worked hard to help us stay within budget and make suggestions on items to consider if we wanted to invest more in one part of the remodel than others. He helped us balance where it made the best sense in the long term to use highest quality finishes and where we were safer to take it down a notch in the interest of time and money.
