not my favorite spot, but its definitely a spot worth checkin out.
I like to come here and watch the sunrise and the ducks/geese. I’ve seen a few hawks and bald eagles! It’s interesting watching them hunt. If you get here just before it gets light out you can hear and maybe even get to catch a glimpse of an owl. I don’t know about the boat ramp, but I don’t recommend putting anything in that water. Do NOT let your pets in the water or drink the water. Not sure about the signage over there as I mostly stay in the parking lot, but in the other side of the lake off Lower River Road there’s a s... read more

Vancouver lake was very very green and slimy. Algae is rampant. Didn't kayak today. Disappointed.
