Be sure to check prices at Lowe's or Home Depot first. Their prices are not just high, they're stupid! I still go in once in a while. I used to shop there at least once or twice a week. I was under the understanding that Habitat for Humanity was here to help people less fortunate.
Easy access parking, variety of teams to see, discounts are dayly, employees are courteous and respectful.
Items priced higher than the brand new price tag from where it was purchased. Never again.

The prices are getting absurdly high if you aren't finding good it at least 50% off. Some of this stuff I've looked up and it's comparable to retail. Heck, they had a heat to heck cabinet for $585 because it was Ethan Allen. Cool, it's a completely unusable piece without a full restoration. And they're raising them aggressively right now as well.
