The BC Centre for Vulvar Health at VGH’s Gynaecology clinic is a valuable concept, and I’m glad a program like this exists. However, having a support system in place doesn’t automatically make it effective, and this clinic still has significant improvements to make before it can provide the level of care patients deserve. It was a great experience. If this procedure was done in another country, it would have cost thousands of dollars. To those who complaint about having a rude receptionist or having to wait 20 min to have the procedure done, I say give this system a break. We have it pretty good here. Waiting or catching someone one a bad day does not change the fact that this health system is one the best in the world.

This clinic cannot be described in words. The gentle, caring, frank, and professional approach had me almost in tears (of gratitude) from minute 1. They were non-scary, non-judgemental, and kind, yet always expertly professional, direct and efficient. i was incredibly anxious and nervous about a procedure I had done here. The nurses were so kind and friendly and really made me feel at ease. The procedure itself wasn’t so bad and went quickly. The doctor was so kind, professional and understanding! I am so grateful for the amazing team here. I was dreading today, but because everyone was awesome, it made it less scary. Thank you :)
