Absolutely terrible experience. Zero communication, or any consideration towards the patients. Went here for a simple burn wound to get rebandaged, waited 6 hours thinking "oh we have to get spoken to soon, it's been so long" Nope. Waited 3 hours in emerg intake, got into a room, the bandage was removed and we continued to wait another 2 hours before a nurse was engaged to just get the wound covered. They actively let a burn wound dry out, and then applied gauze directly to the wound. The place was dark, filthy and just... N... read more
Stay clear. Low Staffed. Extremely long wait times. The staff is very competent.They put a dry gaze on a burn wound. I had to go to a different hospital to get treatment. She took the one thing that was keeping my burn moist and left it open for more 3 hours. Tell me I had to wait for a doctor and didn't know how long it was gonna take.And left my burn wound open.
Nice nurses and nice doctors
Waited 5 hours for triage. Turns out that I missed my name 3 times?? Doctors couldn’t even pronounce names properly. Maybe VCH should start hiring local doctors and nurses who could speak the language properly.
