The receptionists from China failed to realize I am also from China and continues using English with me.
I will never stay at a Sandman again after this. There were white, crusty "bodily fluid" stains on the couch (they should have been noticed by housekeeping if they had done even a cursory glance). My fridge was broken, I asked for a replacement and they replaced it with another broken one. The whole complex is dilapidated and falling apart. I'm sure it was a nice place when it was new, but the photos are extremely misleading as this place is an absolute dump once you leave the lobby.
Our room reeked of axe body spray, the beds weren’t fully made (fitted sheets were barely hanging on), and the extension cord for the lamps looked quite sketchy. Also, the carpet outside our bathroom had sharp nail heads sticking out, so when I walked out of the bathroom in bare feet, I was lucky not to cut my foot open! I’m not sure that this location is up to Sandman standards.
