I have been banking with the North Road branch since 2009 (Westend branch before) and I have always been treated professionally and with a friendly smile and welcoming words. I think it is time to inform clients of the struggles associated with fraud in the digital age. Things change, it’s sad, frustrating and those of us who enjoyed the community banking vibe miss it. I visited Vancity for the first time. The staff was very helpful, especially Rich Io, who assisted me and answered all my questions.
Its in a basement so theres no cell service or ability to connect to your data on your phone and the teller was super unknowledgeable and made it harder to send a transfer. Poor service
What is wrong with Vancity these days? I have been a member for 20 years & during the time, I had good experience with Vancity - business banking, mortgages & day to day banking. Today, I went into this branch, had booked a mortgage appointment for one of my relatives over 2 weeks ago. I thought Vancity would welcome new members like they used to. However, this experience is differ - they now seem to be no longer welcome new member, they picked on people who is working overseas & make it impossible to get to see any mortgage... read more
