My children have seen Dr.V for over a decade and she has been incredible. Very empathetic to our concerns.
Community pediatrician not trained not certified in behavioral and complex pediatric conditions requiring a fellowship to be proficient and an expert . Poorly managed my daughters asd/adhd and anxiety and was combative when I pointed out how she was not treating according to the AAP standards as I am a pediatric specialist myself. I relocated my child to the US and we changed the medications to the correct standards of care which changed her behavior 180! Never felt comfortable expressing my concerns about my son being uncomfortable on medication , was made to feel like I was not being rational. The last straw for me was being expected to go in to the office for a visit during covid while Dr. V was wheeled in on a screen from home. Made no sense to me.
