I was a bit nervous about having a crew cut holes in my basement floor to install piers, but it went much better than I expected. Good contractors who know their stuff and are good people are hard to find. VMC is that rare find. We had some surprise foundation issues which had been concealed by our house's sellers. The project called for delicate removal (and reinstallation) of pavers and ironwork, as well as precision installation of remediation components (helical piers, polyfoam, etc.) in a relatively tight space. I hired Van Matre Construction for foundation repairs to my house. I appreciated the no nonsense proposal and engineering phase of the project. They presented non-alarmingly what needed to be done with my foundation repair. There were no hard sell tactics and they gave me plenty of time to think it over.
