We phoned on a Friday to try to get a vet to look at one of our precious animals. His face was really swollen. No appointments were available and we were told to call back the next day. We called first thing Saturday and were told there were no cancellations. We have used these guys since moving here a couple of years ago and they have been good. I cannot say enough good things about Van Isle Veterinary. As someone who travels from Powell River for appointments, I truly appreciate how accommodating they are with scheduling and planning. They always send reminders well in advance, which makes coordinating ferry travel so much easier. The entire team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Triage system needs a lot of work as well as communication between client & vet. Very expensive, considering. They are a corporation & aren't interested in giving your pet the best care.
