First time taking my car to Van Horn, and after the service I received, I 100% will be bringing my car back for any major repairs! Jim was very kind and understanding, and went to bat for me against my Warranty Company, and while he wasnt able to get them to foot the entire repair cost, it was less than what I was expecting to pay! I even got a free used car value from one of their team members. For reference: 2020 Ford Escape 1.5 SEL AWD, had to have both front sway bar links replaced.
Mechanics were very communicative and kept us posted about what was going on with my car. Service valet was exceptional, Fred was our driver!
When I brought my vehicle in for a turbocharger oil return/supply line leak, the service department chose to treat the repair as a "step-by-step" diagnostic process, beginning with a gasket replacement. While I understand a staged approach to diagnostics, the technician failed to perform the very first step correctly and in accordance with Ford's official service guidance (SSM 49210). Purchased used vehicle approx 1 yr ago has run terribly rough. Have serviced at dealer and they 'could not isolate the cause. Finally they took the easy way out replace the turbo, $5000.00. All my cost. Went to Land Rover of Waukesha in one visit found a selonoid
