Very cute, lovely staff!!
Great historic hotel within walking distance of so many places in Seward. Rooms were modernized but still felt historic. From the outside it kinda looks rundown (could use a paint job or re-stuccoing) but inside makes up for it.
We love this place! It ended up being one of the most special and unique experiences of our trip to Seward. The hotel was absolutely charming and exceptionally clean. I wasn't expecting it to feel so fresh and well cared for. The room had clean bedding, new pillows, and quality shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. It was also surprisingly quiet and private. This hotel really has some potential. However, it’s truly disgusting under the guise of it being historical. Stains, odors, laughably small rooms… for the price one is paying per night they’d ought to fix this place up. We checked out a night early because of how freaked out we were. I can tell this hotel has some truly beautiful potential but should be gutted and renovated ASAP. Don’t stay here unless you don’t mind roughing it.
