She is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. She listens and provides care based on my level of comfort.
Dr. Van Fossen is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. She helped me through some really difficult decisions regarding family planning, and sat with me for a long time talking through things. I have never felt supported, heard and understood by a doctor like I did with Dr. Van Fossen. I was so sad when she moved out of our area and I had to find a new doctor. I miss her!
This doctor ruined my life! Never, ever let her perform surgery on you, I was in perfect health before she performed an unnecessary surgery on me, other doctors gasp at what she did, I suffer everyday. I’ve had to have surgery after her surgery to correct! She is a very nice person but please don’t let her near your body with a knife! This was the worst decision of my life!
Dr. Can Fossen literally saved my son's life. I was seeing a different obgyn at the time who wasn't taking my grave concerns serious so I came to see her as a second opinion and within minutes of being in the exam room she was calling an ambulance because I was in labor at 24 weeks. I returned to her with my second and she was great. Very compassionate and thorough. She is a godsent to my family, literally.
I have to say that she is a wonderful Dr with a great bedside manor. She made me feel relaxed and explained everything and really cares about her patients. She was also very diligent regarding some issues and getting things sorted out that other Drs in the past have just ignored. She listens and wants to help and is very knowledgeable.
I am currently seeing Dr. Van Fossen for my 3rd pregnancy. She delivered both of my first 2. I am 26 years old and this is the best doctor I have ever had. She is kind, and genuinely cares about her patients. She listens and makes me feel like my concerns are always important. I will be sad when I'm done having babies and only get to see her once a year. I recommend her to anyone I know newly pregnant or looking for a new OBGYN.
