I'm no stranger to framing and frame shops. This one is the best. Randy is an artist himself --and his work is affordable and, always, always, beautifully done. HIGHLY recommended.

Randy, the owner is meticulous with his framing; the quality of the materials he uses and the craftsmanship of his framing is spot on PERFECT! The best part: Randy is such a wonderful human--he is such a nice person! I will only have my pieces framed by Randy Van Dyck! Yes, he's that good!

Adjoining the frame shop is Capitol Contemporary Gallery, where more of Randy’s work is on display and the works of a number of other local artists, many of whose works feature scenes of Idaho landscapes and wildlife and iconic Boise sights. Randy was a very gracious host and tour guide, taking time out of his day and away from his painting to show us around and to explain his artistic process.
