My very first time trying Van Dorn Diner, came today October 11 around 1 something for lunch. I got the Grilled Chicken Bacon Avocado and omg it was very delicious. I will be back soon to try the breakfast menu. The food came out so fast and customer service is a 10/10.
This place is a total hit! Food is great, I had the Elvis omelet, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is classic 50's diner complete with the vinyl booth benches and the chrome diner tables. It's a teal dream!
Food is good. But I’m standing outside the restaurant at 650am on Sunday and the hours say they should be open at 630 And there are 2-3 employees just sitting there on their phones and the restaurant is dark. Very disappointing. I don’t suggest you try to go there early on a Sunday morning because it seems very hit or miss. I’m gonna wait and see if they open at 7am. But I highly suggest you don’t make plans for early Sunday mornings if you want to go to Van Dorn diner
My wife and I were staying overnight at the Comfort Inn and Suites and saw that the Diner was nearby and figured we give it a try.Not totally familiar with the area we drove around the shopping plaza for a few minutes before we were able to find it.This was on a Saturday night about 7:15 pm late July and the place was empty. Apparently they close at 8pm , so I was wondering if I made a good choice.
