Nice guy but he installed a more heavy duty toilet for our business and it failed pretty soon after he completed the job. He said he would fix it but he was out of town. He did fix it and it broke a month later. He is out of town again. Now when we reach out he is unresponsive. We made a mistake hiring him. We wanted to support a local business but we are really disappointed and our customers who can’t use the toilet are hurt the most. Sad

We needed to remove a 30 year old bathroom faucet and install a new one. My husband worked an entire day on trying to get the old one out and couldn't. We called Van Der Sande Plumbing in Tecumseh and he called me back right away (remarkable) and came and did all the work the next morning (amazing)!!! I now have a beautiful new functional faucet installed 🤩 He even cleaned off the old marks around the old faucet! I called to have a leaking valve going to my sprinkler replaced and also a leaking TPR valve on my water heater on a Monday. He initially said that he could fit me in that afternoon, but later called and said that he couldn't make it until the next day. I contacted him again the next day and he said that he would be there in an hour or so, but then contacted me again to say that he was caught up and couldn't make it. Then on Wednesday, I never heard from him.

I would recommend Mark a hundred times over. He installed a new tankless hot water heater for me. He was amazing. He was reasonably priced, prompt, clean, efficient, friendly, respectful of me and my house, and took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I knew how to operate and maintain the new heater. And he talked to me like I had a brain, no mansplaining or eye rolling, even when he had to repeat things. I will definitely be using him for any future plumbing needs.
