I walked in without an appointment today to browse, but I already knew what I wanted to buy. The hostess advised me to check back in if there was something I wished to get a closer look at. When I was ready, I checked in with her. She told me it might be a minute before an associate was available. No problem! I stood to the side and waited patiently. I had a very disappointing experience at the Van Cleef & Arpels Boston boutique today. I walked in without an appointment and asked whether walk-ins were being accommodated. I was told there would be approximately a 15-minute wait, which I completely understood given the upcoming price increases and the store being busy.
