Excellent store. I recently moved to Naples and needed my first pair of progressive lenses with a strong prescription. They have a very nice selection and took a lot of time to help get the right fit and eye measurements for me. The customer service is outstanding and my glasses turned out great. 5 stars!
I have been a satisfied customer for a number of years. Recently I had a change in my vision that required a more complex solution. The Optometrist and Optician worked together to satisfactorily resolve the issue. This is a terrific business with wonderful people. I highly recommend them.
I've been to those other places, "Free eye exam, 2 pair of glasses for $60" you know the ones. Never were they able to get my prescription correct. But, you get what you pay for. I went to VanBuskirk Opticians, and WOW what a difference. For the first time I can actually see out of my new glasses. The optician got it right the very first time. I was visiting Naples and forgot to pack contacts. After calling around and visiting other opticians, Van Buskirk was the only place who was kind and compassionate about my situation. Todd gave me more than enough trial pairs to get me through my trip. Thank you so much for the hospitality!
I had the unfortunate experience of stepping on my fairly new eyeglasses this past weekend while exiting my pool. Although the lenses were fine, the frame was horribly bent to such an extent that neither lens would remain in place. It looked like a pretzel. I honestly thought they were beyond repair. The problem was that I purchased the glasses in Massachusetts and not in Naples. I was fully prepared to pay dearly for the repair should someone prove to be capable of doing such a difficult task.
