Over rated community Outside of the fact that the committee that votes you in are the rudest people that you can deal with. They only let you into that community if you have a large savings account and obviously do not screen their people properly........It looks like it is headed for senior citizens housing...........only!! keep the innocent and terminate the proved guilty Van Buren homes is run by unfair, old, mean people. Many of the homes still have asbestos. As far as the neighborhood, they keep violent children who like to beat people with snow shovels, peeping toms who like to feel up the elderly, drug dealers, and incosiderate others. I would feel much safer with someone who is no longer able to own a gun than these people who obviously need counseling. Why haven't they been kicked out.

Snowwwbelle@msn.com I lived in Van Buren from the ages of 4-13.......most of my friends were the top football stars and I was a majorette in Jr. High.......the kids from Vanport were different as they didn't have cases for their instruments as did the students who lived in Beaver. I see that the Van Buren Homes are now updated but basically just the same.
